Youth
At Gateway we want to impact the lives of the young people of York with the good news of Jesus, to walk alongside young people in the journey of life and to encourage those who have a faith in Jesus. Some of the youth activities at Gateway include:
Curve - For school years 7-11 - every Friday during term-time - 7.30-9.30 - café-style evening with games and activities.
College Curve - For school years 12+ - every Wednesday during term-time - 7.30-9.30 - café with a weekly pub-style quiz.
Cell Groups - 7.00-8.00 every sunday - informal chat and prayer in single-sex groups.
thesundaynightthing - Sunday - 8.00-9.15 - worship, teaching and discussion for young people.
UNITE York - 10th January 2010 - 7.00-9.00 - equipping and refuelling the Church in York. This event is aimed at youth, students and young adults, but everyone is welcome.
All of these events are held at The Gateway Centre.
